Batur Natural Hot Spring | Place to Relax After Adventure in Kintamani

Kintamani is one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali offer scenic panorama of Mount Batur and Lake Batur with caldera. Kintamani also offers a natural hot spring located in the mountainous shore of Lake Batur. Aside from being used for recreation, the nature hot spring of Mount Batur is also believed to have medicinal properties for curing diseases, especially skin diseases.

This hot spring located in Toyabungkah area, Batur Village, Bangli Regency about 90 kilometers frim Ngurah rai International Airpot. Toyabungkah come from two words toya and bungkah. Toya meaning water and bungkah meaning rocks. So Toyabungkah meaning the water which come from rocks crevices of Mount Batur.

Toyabungkah tourist destination professionally managed by ‘Pekraman Batur’ who named this place ‘Batur Natural Hot Spring’. To can get into this tourism object, the domestic tourist must  pay entrance fee about Rp 50.000, while the foreign tourist must pay entrance fee about US $10. The price includes welcome drink juice, towel, soap, and shampoo.

In this place tourists can feel the hot water shower sensation, the water temperature about 38-39 degrees Celsius. In addition to refresh the body and mind, a hot shower at this place believed has efficacious for the treatment of diseases, particularly skin diseases.

Views of Lake Batur lay in front of the swimming pool. Some people are seen fishing on the lake side. The surrounding area is a lot of floating cages. Places to breed tilapia fish. Not surprisingly, one of the most popular dishes in the region are tilapia fish. The management also provides a menu of foods that can be eaten when swimming. Some bale (sitting on the floor seat) retreat also provided around the pool. On the left side of the swimming pool, there is a water shower facilities and a small lake for anyone who wants to enjoy the warm water at a low price. A donation box and a guard seen guard the entrance.
