Atuh Beach, A Hidden Paradise In Nusa Penida You Must Visit!

Atuh Beach is one of the white sand beaches in Nusa Penida Island. It is located in Pejukutan Village, Nusa Penida, Bali. It's offers beautiful landscape, surrounded by cliffs, and a clear blue colored water. To reach the beach, you have to walk down the cliff for about 30 minutes. But you have to be careful, because it could be dangerous to walk down the cliff. Make sure you wearing your safety equipment. Atuh Beach is also called by Hidden Paradise because of its location behind the cliff and it's also far away from the others tourist attraction. That's why there’s only a few tourists who visit this beach if compared with other beaches in Nusa Penida.

Atuh. "A" means "no". "Tuh" means "dry". Atuh means "not dry". This refers to two (fresh) springs that miraculously never dry, found on the beach of Atuh. The location is right next to Pura Atuh. Hindus in this region believe that the spring is sacred given its location next to the coastline. One special spring is used for holidays and traditional ceremonies only. That's why this beach is called Atuh Beach.

His position surrounded by high cliffs seemed protected. There are stone islands around it. One of them being the icon is Melawang Island or Pepadasan which is the largest coral island directly facing Atuh Beach. This coral island is also commonly called Batu Bolong because its corals form underneath. Residents around believe that every ship or boat that wants to sail to the open sea, must pass under the rock. Believe it or not, this myth is still run by local residents because it has magical value.

When it comes down to Atuh Beach. Luckily the track isn't that difficult, it's just more steep. The stone steps have been cemented and neater. But still have to be careful because it is slippery. The wind was still very hard to blow and repeatedly stopped and looked down, because it was too insecure to be on the slope of a steep cliff like that. It takes a strong determination to continue to go down because there is no other grip besides the roots of the bush and continues to creep down cheered on by friends who are not faltering. But there is still a bit of enthusiasm, the sound of waves on the beach feels like it's calling from below. Soft sand welcomes the steps. Batu Bolong is closer than sight. It is beautiful, majestic, and manly. Comparable with the business that has crept up this high cliff.

The waves broke when they touched Batu Bolong, causing a dramatic effect on Atuh Beach. The wind added to our lively afternoon at Atuh Beach. Relaxing on this hidden beach is the right choice. No need to fear the storm anymore. Do not also have to be afraid of the waves. Because there are high cliffs to protect and there are coral islands that block the waves and just hear the thrill of the sound. Even though it blaring, the sound of the wind also did not go out, it felt like being here was very peaceful and looked at the cliff wall. Can not believe it can get to the bottom of this from there after passing a journey that is not a short time to get to this point.

For those of you who have visited Bali don't forget to come to Atuh beach

The cool air combined with the beautiful scenery of the Rice Terrace makes this place as one of the favorite destinations for taking pictures. Around the Rice Terrace, there are places for visitors to relax while enjoying the view of the Rice Terrace. There are also many souvenir shops and restaurants for you to lunch with views of the Rice Terrace. You can also come down to see closer how farmers manage these terraces.

Well for the entrance ticket information does not incur any costs except the cost of parking and to enjoy or take pictures on the terraces you simply make a sincere donation to the farmers there, but to ride the swing you need to pay and the price is relatively cheap for the view that you will enjoy.
