Batu Klotok Beach Bali Sacred Nuance

Today is a nice day to visit some beautiful place in Bali, I have a plan to explore about exotic temple in Bali. A long the road of bay pass Ida Bagus Mantra I was found amazing beach with a beautiful temple, namely Batu Klotok beach. Batu Klotok Beach has a magnificent panorama since it lies near Mount Agung. When you look afar ahead, you’ll sea range of trees that makes the beach look stunning. And when you look at the sea water, you’ll see as though it were a giant carpet spreading right in front of you. The beach also has exotic black sand and fine stones can be found along the beach. The beach looks more stunning with Pura Watu Temple standing next to the beach. The temple adds the greatness and exorcism to the beach. You shouldn’t any misconduct in this holy temple. Batu Klotok  name is taken from the term "Watu" which means stone, and "klotok" which means sound. So Watu klotok means stone that wheezes. Therefore it is said in this beach has rocks that can emit sound then this beach is named Klotok Watu beach.

Location of Batu Klotok

Batu Klotok Beach is situated in Banjar Celepik, Tojan Village, Klungkung Regency, Bali. It is about 5 km from Semarapura City and just need 60 from Ngurah Rai International airport. The access to the Batu Klotok beach is not difficult. You just need take the road of bypass of Ida Bagus Mantra. When you arrive at Tojan Village, turn right and follow the main road. There is a sign telling the direction to the beach, and therefore you don’t have to worry about getting lost. On your way to the beach, you can enjoy the beautiful and natural scenery. You can see Mount Agung Standing strong towards the beach. You can also feel the breeze of the clear and unpolluted air toward the beach. You will feel fresh even when you have not arrived to the beach yet.

What activities that you can find

Beside you can see a beautiful beach, there are you can find a lot of activities that will make you interested to explore this place . Most people around the beach live by making crafts like flower pots. The flower pot is made of fine gravel. People call it batu sikat, i.e. fine-sized stones derive from the beach. The crafts made by the people of the beach are unique. Hence, you can walk around and shop the crafts when you visit the beach. In addition, you can watch and enjoy the Melasti ceremony held by the people. The ceremony is very sacred, and therefore you should respect those involved in the ceremony.
Other than those two activities, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the beach. The beach is not too comfortable to swim or do any other water activities because there are many garbage in the water. The waves in this beach some time big, but I love this place to much.
