Kemenuh Amazing Village

In wonderful day I have a plan to visit amazing village in Bali. Close to Ubud Village I found a beautiful village, namely Kemenuh Village. Kemenuh village is located in Sukawati District , Gianyar regency. Kemenuh village is just 10 minutes from Ubud, the village holds potential for tourism, especially the beautiful natural scenery breathtaking. I see a lot of wood carving along the road of Kemenuh Village, and I interested to know how to make a carving.

In Kemenuh village I meet Mr Wayan, he is a local carver from Kemenuh. He so friendly, polite with the visitor who come to Kemenuh Village. The Most famous of this village is a handmade wood carving. In Kemenuh village Mr Wayan teach me how to make a carving, I feel so difficult I should need more skill and imagination to make a carving. Many kind of woods are used for beautiful art of carving here including ebony, ulin, teak wood, sandalwood etc. Visitor may see directly how the making process by the woodcarver. The wood carver also will be proudly presenting their art to visitor is coming to their gallery, and the wood carving is guaranteed made from original wood. The results of art of wood carving here are also exported to abroad describes if they are having an international standard quality of art.

Kemenuh village there is a path made tracking down the field, in addition to an unspoiled village atmosphere adds to the appeal of this village. On the edge of this Petanu village clear flowing river water and endless. Along the way there are many art village shop which sells various shaped wooden sculptures of animals such as birds, cats, chickens, giraffes and others that are very similar to the original.
