Bedugul and Beratan Lake | Places of Interest in Bali

Bedugul is the name of place located in the mountain area about 2 hours drive from Denpasar Airport. The place is very beautiful with cool atmosphere and encircled by hills and mountains. There are some spots that we can come around and visit which own breathtaking view and make this place to be one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali. LOCATION

Bedugul is located in Candi Kuning countryside, Baturiti District and Tabanan regency. From Denpasar town we can take the main road to the Gilimanuk destination and once we arrive at Mengwi, th direction is change and go to the north side. You will follow the main road go to the Singaraja town and Bedugul it self is strategically located in the side main road. The road to go to the Bedugul is the straight up way because Bedugul is located in mountain area. On the way to the Bedugul, we will find beautiful panorama like rice terrace, mountain and agricultural. If we go from Airport or Kuta, it is just simple to follow the road to go t Singaraja and we also find the Mengwi to turn the way to Bedugul. From Denpasar to Bedugul will take about 1,5 hours but from Kuta or Airport will take about 2 hours.

When is the good time to visit Bedugul?

Bedugul is one of tourist destination in Bali opened from 07.00 – 18.00, the best time to visit this place is from 09.00 – 16.00 due to the weather relatively is fine. Since this place is located in the mountain area, the rain is easily fall down and this place is often blanketed by fog. January until July and September to November is the good weather to visit Bedugul. This place is chockablock full visited by local tourist on the big holiday like Galungan, Kuningan, Lebaran and New Year. All tourist destinations in Bedugul is fully visited by local people because the love the weather and which commonly in Bali is hot and not rarely we will find the traffic jump.
